Requirements

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

Financial Transparency & Legitimacy

- Minimum Asset Requirement: Possess at least USD 1 million in global assets.

- Minimum Investment Requirement: Invest a minimum of USD 500,000 in qualifying Thai assets such as:

   I. Real estate or property

   II. Registered Thai companies

   III.Thai government bonds

Clean Legal Record

- Must be in good standing with no criminal record in Thailand or abroad.
- Must demonstrate financial transparency, with no involvement in: Tax evasion, Money laundering, Fraud or similar offenses

No History of Overstay in Thailand

- Must not have any record of overstay in Thailand.

Valid Passport

- Passport with at least 6 months’ validity and three blank pages.
- Must submit all required supporting documents (proof of investment, financial statements, criminal record certificate, etc.).

Health Insurance Coverage

- Must hold health insurance coverage of at least USD 50,000 for medical expenses in Thailand.

Required Documents & Fees

Applicants must prepare and submit the following

1. Personal Identification

  • Valid passport (minimum 6 months validity, at least 3 blank pages)
  • Passport-size photos (2x2 inches, white background, taken within 6 months)
  • National ID or residence permit

2. Financial Documentation

  • Proof of assets demonstrating ownership of at least USD 1 million (e.g., bank statements, investment portfolio, property ownership documents)
  • Proof of qualifying investment of at least USD 500,000
  • Bank statement or financial certification showing available funds for fees and investment

3. Legal & Background Documents

  • Criminal record certificate (police clearance) from country of residence and any country lived in during the past 5 years
  • Letter of reference (optional, recommended) from a financial institution or professional advisor verifying good standing
  • Declaration of no prior overstay or immigration violations in Thailand

4. Additional Supporting Documents

  • Completed visa application form
  • Copy of marriage certificate and/or birth certificates (if applying with dependents)
  • Proof of relationship for dependents (if applicable)
